The 2nd AnaEE Science Conference brings together leading ecosystem scientists to advance our understanding of how ecosystems can withstand and adapt to global environmental change. The conference spans experimental approaches to global change ecology, forest and agricultural resilience, aquatic-terrestrial interactions, and innovative data integration methods. 

Join us in Menton for three days of transformative science that will help build the foundation for a resilient future. Registration opens January 11 2026.

  • Cancellations by July 10 get full refund minus €50 processing fee. No refunds after.

      Highlighting the value of ecotrons - inside the future climate - ecosystems in ecotrons. This session explores how ecotrons and other controlled-environment facilities enable precise manipulation of global change drivers-such as elevated CO₂, warming, drought, and nutrient inputs-to reveal ecosystem functioning and resilience under future climate scenarios.

      Workshop 3: Translating Ecosystem Research into Policy for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) 1h 30m

      Scope: This stakeholder workshop aims to examine how ecosystem research outputs can be effectively translated into policy-relevant evidence through structured stakeholder engagement, supporting the development of actionable policy briefs or policy papers, supporting the SDG's. It aligns with Session #5 on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) by strengthening the link between scientific evidence and policy action in the areas of climate adaptation and mitigation, ecosystem management and restoration, biodiversity conservation, carbon sequestration, and disaster risk reduction.

      Goal: The outcome shoud improve our understanding of how AnaEE's ecosystem research results can be framed for policy relevance. The working group should identify scientific messages with high potential of policy impact and agree on priority policy topics that could be developed beyond the workshop.

      MASSALYA is an instrumental platform at Aix-Marseille University dedicated to the high temporal resolution analysis of submicron particles and volatile organic compounds present in indoor and outdoor atmospheres.

      Complementary to the tools available to air quality monitoring networks (AtmoSud), this mobile laboratory (< 3.5 tons) is equipped with state-of-the-art analyzers (PTR-ToF-MS, HR-ToF-AMS, TAG, etc.). The equipment can be easily removed from the truck for use indoors and in confined spaces.
