Description
Scope: This stakeholder workshop aims to examine how ecosystem research outputs can be effectively translated into policy-relevant evidence through structured stakeholder engagement, supporting the development of actionable policy briefs or policy papers, supporting the SDG's. It aligns with Session #5 on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) by strengthening the link between scientific evidence and policy action in the areas of climate adaptation and mitigation, ecosystem management and restoration, biodiversity conservation, carbon sequestration, and disaster risk reduction.
Goal: The outcome shoud improve our understanding of how AnaEE's ecosystem research results can be framed for policy relevance. The working group should identify scientific messages with high potential of policy impact and agree on priority policy topics that could be developed beyond the workshop.
